Supplies:

Homework :

Homework will generally be assigned every night. Complete the assignments in your notebook so that it will be simple to keep track of it and to turn it in when I collect it. Show your work. If the work is not there, I will have no idea how you arrived at your answer and will not award full credit. Keep it neat, and number your problems. No late work is accepted.

Tests, Quizzes, and Projects :

Tests are scheduled at the end of every chapter. We will have a review day so that you can voice any questions. Quizzes may be given occasionally without warning. Projects will come up regularly and will usually require working in groups.

Grading:

Tests and quizzes are graded on a scale of 0-100. Regardless of whether your answer is correct, showing your work will earn you partial credit and will therefore benefit you much more than abandoning a question entirely. Tests make up 70 percent of your grade. Quizzes and homework make up 25 percent. Projects may be scored as either a test or quiz grade depending on their nature. Class participation will make up the final 5 percent.
