- Study for test tomorrow on proportions, congruent shapes, and similar shapes. Also work on your project due Monday. Project guideline below:

Over the next few weeks we will be reviewing for the final. It is your task to create a comprehensive study guide for your classmates. Each student will be assigned one topic. You must put together a study guide for that topic with key terms, explanations, and sample problems. You will present your study guide to the class, and then Mrs. Glauster will explain the material and answer any further questions. Although presentations will be spread out, all review sheets are due on May 5 th. This project is worth half a test grade.

- p. 393, 1-22

4/28/08
- Find the approximate height of the two trees you measured, using our class median ratio of 1.365 to 1. Make sure you show your work clearly, label your answers clearly, and label which trees you and your partner measured. This is due tomorrow.

4/24/08
- Find the ratio of your height to your shadow's height and your partner's height to their shadow's height (divide and round to two decimal places.) You answer should be bigger than one because your height at 10:45 is longer than your shadow's height.
